The Smith Filter Perm A Steel Galvanized Filter is a permanent, washable air filtration system constructed from galvanized expanded steel materials designed for light-duty commercial and industrial applications. The filter utilizes multiple layers of 28-gauge hot-dip galvanized steel expanded to 0.040-inch strand thickness, arranged in alternating configurations to maximize dust holding capacity while maintaining low airflow resistance. The filtering media is housed within a lightweight 24-gauge galvanized steel frame that is mitered and rivet-secured at one corner, with the complete assembly capable of operating at temperatures up to 425°F.
